Buy Carbidopa Levodopa for Parkinson’s Disease

Carbidopa Levodopa is a combination of Carbidopa (a DOPA decarboxylase inhibitor) and Levodopa (a natural enzyme). The combination of these two drugs makes a dopamine agonist which can be effective in treating Parkinson’s disease. Available as Atamet, Sinemet, Parcopa and Apo-Levocarb, the Carbidopa Levodopa uses can also include treatment of DRD or dopamine responsive dystonia also.

Working of Carbidopa Levodopa

The action of DOPA decarboxylase enzyme converts Levodopa into dopamine, both in the peripheral circulation and the central nervous system of the patient. This activates the central dopamine receptors which are responsible for improving symptoms of the Parkinson’s disease. Dopamine receptors’ activation usually gives way to nausea and vomiting, and that is why it is administered with Carbidopa, which is a DOPA decarboxylase inhibitor. Carbidopa does not cross the blood brain barriers, and in this way, it prevents peripheral conversion of Levodopa into dopamine. This reduces the side effects Levodopa is likely to produce. The combination of Carbidopa and Levodopa is also effective in enhancing the quantity of Levodopa in the blood which can go into the patient’s brain.

Carbidopa Levodopa dosage

The Carbidopa Levodopa dosage and duration of treatment is based on your medical condition, its severity, your kidney function, your age, and your individual response to the drug.
